Sleeping Late (Doo, doo, doo, doo do doo do)
Yes, yes I was listening to Dr Hook yesterday ... lol.
So, sleeping late. Yay or Nay?
Do you love the occasional lie-in or are you always up with the lark?
Do you ever HAVE lie-ins anymore?

Big Fat YAY I love it
When DH is off work I have a lie in and then when I get up he goes back to bed. It's a bed rotation thing.
I don't mind if I'm not actually sleeping. In fact if I'm awake and hear crying and clattering etc. going on downstairs I enjoy it even more because I'm not the one dealing with it.

Whats a lie in? whats a decent sleep LOL? I think I have had 2 long lies in the past 16 months since I had DD2. I am so jealous of those who do get them.

I love lie ins
I still get to have them quite a lot despite having a 8 month old. I feel very lucky.

I love a lie-in. I'm a proper night owl, so sleeping in is lovely!! And DD1 used to sleep quite late, but now she wakes quite early, plus my 4 week-old likes to get up with the sun. DOH! But DH is a darling and sometimes gets up and lets me sleep.

I LOVE my lie ins and know I get far to many. The fact is some days I can't get out of bed! (especially weekends!)Like PP said it's great when you can hear the clattering and crying downstairs , knowing you're not the one ealing with it!
I also love lying in bed and listening to DH and dd chatting away - even if I sometimes need to shout down what she is saying!

What's your definition of a lie-in?
My children are fab and I quite often get to loll in bed past 9am on the weekends. Pure bliss. I love my bed, it is my favourite place in the world!
My teenage definition of a lie-in recoils in horror at the idea of getting up at 9am though lol.
